 The house has absolutely fantastic views over the surrounding countryside from both the front and the back. Walk out of the back of the house, pass the terrace and go into the totally private garden .... and then be surprised and delighted to find a swimming-pool with a further terrace. This second terrace is bright and sunny and is a lovely spot for sundowners or to simply sit and admire the beauty and magnificence of the views.  |
 The kitchen is compact but well laid out and has a lovely view of the garden. There is a gas hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. Once prepared the food only has to be carried a short distance to either the indoor dining table or the pretty outside terrace. |
The entrance to the property is through a stone entrance hall and then up steps leading to the open-plan sitting and dining room. The sitting room has a large stone fireplace, arched windows and and arched doors to the terrace. There is a dining table for 6/8 conveniently situated next to the kitchen.  |
The property is simply but comfortably furnished. Situated near the Church in the heart of the village, it is an easy walk to the bars, shops and restaurants on offer and Venasque is only a short drive to the nearby villages of St. Didier and Pernes les Fontaines. The larger towns of Carpentras and L'Isle sur la Sorgue are within 25 minutes' drive and everywhere there are lovely walks in glorious countryside.  |
 The large bathroom on the first floor serves the two double bedrooms and has a corner bath, separate shower, basin and WC  Also on the second floor is a further double bedroom with a very high ceiling giving a light an airy feel to the room, which has lovely views over the garden.  This house is ideal for those wanting a lovely village location from which to explore the surrounding area. Venasque typifies some of the lovely, unspoilt villages of the Vaucluse and its small winding streets are a visual feast. Walk up for supper at "Les Ramparts" and watch, a chilled glass of rose in hand as the sun sets over the panorama before you. Bliss! |
There are two double bedrooms on the first floor. Though fairly small they have everything one needs to ensure a comfy stay in this visually stunning area of France.  On the second floor there is a large double bedroom under the eaves, with sofa and dressing-table.  Another large bathroom serves the two second floor bedrooms and features a bath with an integral shower, a basin, bidet and WC.  |
