The house faces south and has an attractive, well-planted 1,500 square metre garden. Situated in a small cul de sac of 8 houses, the roofs of the houses opposite can be seen but neighbouring houses cannot be seen, the vegetation being mature. A large covered terrace runs the length of the front of the house with ample space for up to ten people to dine.

A separate seating area provides a lovely place in which to relax, read a book, or plan the day's activities, and to the side of the house is a boules, or petanque court, for those all-important post-prandial games. There is also ample parking for up to 4 cars and large gates providing additional security.

Golf Provence Country Club Golf Course was designed by Jean Garaialde in 1989. It was constructed on the slopes of the Vaucluse mountains incorporating the natural landscape of rocky outcrops, boulders and crags.

The Carpentras canal waters the lush green fairways and provides an additional interesting hazard. The vegetation is typical provencal, pine and olive trees with an underplanting of oleander, lavender and rosemary bushes. The view of the Luberon and Alpilles hills in the distance and the lakes and fountains in the foreground is spectacular.

The Golf Course is 6099 metres from the white tees with 38 strategically placed bunkers. It is widely regarded as "fair but challenging", a truly memorable course to play.

The lovely salt-water treated pool is completely private and equipped with a counter-current and a brand new, state-of-the-art rigid cover. It measures 10 x 5 metres and graduates to a depth of 1.7 metres in the deep end. There are 4 comfortable loungers and a fabulous double-bed sized area for flopping onto when romance is in the air or when too many lengths in the pool seem like a bad idea. Just near the pool is a wonderful antique gazebo with table and chairs, which not only looks lovely but is ideal for an intimate cocktail or a leisurely game of cards.

The house has been well-laid out for comfort and convenience. The large sitting/dining room leads directly off the kitchen and has a pretty, working stone fireplace and a dining table seating 8. There are French windows leading to the garden and large double doors to the kitchen. For those needing or wishing to work, there is a peaceful office area and for everyone else there are large, comfy sofas on which to recline after a hard day's sunbathing.

The large, airy kitchen has been completely refurbished and equipped. There is an attractive Provencal-style dresser, a large gas range with a gas hob and electric oven and a central isle with two fridges. There is also a very useful and spacious walk-in larder with a microwave oven and freezer. A pretty table and chairs provide the perfect place for breakfast or the odd game of Scrabble.

Adjacent to the sitting-room is a TV room with a flat screen TV. There is SKY TV for those anxious not to miss out on their favourite series, a DVD player plus a collection of DVD's, and French windows to the garden. This is a perfect place for younger members of the party to gather and enjoy themselves.

The lounge is equipped with air conditioning for guests comfort, although this will rarely be needed. It's far nicer to leave the large French windows open so the breeze can circulate.

There are 3 bedrooms at first-floor level and a large bathroom with fabulous double basins in polished cement. There is a big walk-in shower with feature glass bricks and a separate WC. The master bedroom has an en-suite dressing area, French windows to a terrace overlooking the garden and pool and a high, vaulted beamed ceiling.

The second double room also has an en-suite dressing area, a charming French-style dressing-table and a pretty glass chandelier. The third bedroom has twin beds and a large wardrobe with ample hanging space.

There is a further double bedroom and bathroom at ground floor level, perfect for someone not keen on stairs or who relishes quiet time alone. The bedroom has a large wardrobe and a mosquito screen to prevent any nasty nocturnal visitors.

Air conditioning is provided in the two double bedrooms upstairs. Fans are provided in all bedrooms.
