The large living room on the first floor has huge French windows opening out into the garden. An open wood-burning fireplace adds atmosphere for evenings during the cooler months. A mix of squishy sofas and old iron, cushioned armchairs creates a wonderfully casual feel.

The interesting ceiling structure has been retained from the old mill days and again adds character to various rooms in the house.

Traditional Provencal plaster and wood ceilings add a warmth to this shower room along with the mix of marble and terracotta tiles.

Every bedroom has been very differently decorated (I think the owners had great fun searching out all these treasures!).

Decorated with armoirs and writing desks and gentle paint finishes. Always good curtains should you wish to block out the sunshine for your siesta!

On the first and second floor :

The house has 5 bedrooms (4 family bedrooms and 1 traditional double bedroom) and can sleep a maximum of 10 adults (5 couples) and 8 children.

Family bedroom 1 : comprising 1 bedroom with a four-poster double bed (140cm wide), 1 bedroom with bunk beds for 2 children and 1 bathroom with bath, dual wash basins and WC

Traditional double bedroom : double bed (160cm wide), which may be divided into 2 single beds (2 x 80 x 200cm), and a bathroom with shower, wash basin and WC

Family bedroom 2 : comprising 1 bedroom with a double bed (140cm wide), 1 small adjoining children's bedroom (separated with a door from the parent's bedroom) with 2 beds for 2 children (1x180x80 and 1x190x80) and 1 bathroom with WC, shower and wash basin. The access to the bathroom passes through the children's bedroom.

Family bedroom 3 : comprising 1 bedroom with a double bed (160cm wide), which may be divided into 2 single beds (2 x 80 x 190cm) , 1 small adjoining children's bedroom (separated with a door from the parent's bedroom) with stowaway beds for 2 children and 1 bathroom with WC, shower and wash basin. The access to the bathroom passes through the children's bedroom.

Family bedroom 4 : comprising 1 bedroom with a double bed (140cm wide), 1 small adjoining children's bedroom (separated with a door from the parent's bedroom) with 2 beds for 2 children (1x180x80 and 1x160x80) and 1 bathroom with bath, single wash basin and WC. The access to the bathroom passes through the children's bedroom.

The spacious, well equippped kitchen is restaurant standard, ideal for those who love to cook. With light arriving from several directions and the well planned placement of the kitchen equipment, several budding chefs will feel quite at home working together.

All the bedrooms have good beds, side tables, reading lights and sunshine. Ideal for a good nights sleep or an afternoon siesta!

As with the old ceiling structure in the lounge and kitchen, other features have been retained throughout. The stone walls have been restored and left visable where possible, Provencal colours added and the mix creates wonderfully warm environments in all the bedrooms.
