"Wow" says it all! Step through the entrance gate and you almost step backwards again! The panoramic view that greets you is quite extraordinary. The distant hills 'Les Dentelles du Montmirail' and the flat lands dotted with villages amongst a carpet of vineyards are laid out before you.

Behind the house, across a small lane, is an EXTENSIVE garden with a 10m x 5m graduated swimming pool, delightful teak sun loungers, dining table, umbrellas and lots of grassland. Again, the panoramic views are stunning, the privacy complete and all within the heart of the old village.

To the right of the entrance gate you'll find an outdoor dining area. To the left in this photograph, you will see the door to the large laundry room/mini gymnasium and a shower room with w.c.

Yet another of the terraces overlooking the Cote du Rhone valley, the mountains, the villages, the vineyards
and with typical Provencal blue skies above.

The dining area inside the house is beside the kitchen and divided from the lounge by a decorative fireplace. The dining table very comfortably seats 8 people.

From this dining area you can also access the terraces on one side and the second living room/television/music room on the other side.

The kitchen is fully equipped, oodles of good wine glasses, crockery, cutlery, utensils etc. From the kitchen you can access the upper terrace where the round dining table is situated. Dining 'al dente' is easy and delightful!

In fact dining outside is a must here as the views at night, with the setting sun and the lights of the various villages dotted about the hills, it's a veritable fairyland! On one of the terraces a Weber gas barbecue is provided.

There are two lounge areas. Each furnished with sofas and armchairs. One has the television and dvd player, the library and guidebooks....with access to a small terrace. The other is for those who prefer to sit and simply enjoy the views or listen to some soothing music.

This is the view from the lounge/dining area in the small house. Overlooking one fo the many terraces and to the off into the wide blue yonder!

This is the master bedroom in the main house. With a queen (160cm) sized bed, antique wood and marble chest of drawers, spacious wardrobe, good bedside tables and reading lights. The room is huge and on a corner of the house with large picture windows bringing the views and sunshine in.

This twin (90cm) bedded room in the main house can also be made up as a king sized bedroom. Drawers and hanging space and reading lights. Wonderful fresh air arrives through the windows overlooking the garden.

Again in the main house, the third bedroom has a double (140cm) bed and although this room is slightly smaller it has a lovely little balcony accessed through French doors and overlooking the garden.

The 'office' to the left is cool and comfortable and houses a single antique bed ... ideal for a siesta or solitude.

These three bedrooms share two bathrooms. The bath/shower room shown above, with hand basin and towel rails, is on the first floor of the house, adjacent to the bedrooms. There is a seperate w.c. on this level also.

There is a another shower room with w.c. on the ground floor next to the terraces and laundry/mini gymnasium. Perhaps not as convenient in the middle of the night but an absolute boon during the day when you've been sunbaking and need cooling off or you've been exercising and need to refresh.

In the apartment, which is situated as a 'wing' of the main house, there is a lounge/dining area open to a complete kitchen.

The views are delightful and, as with the house, the light and spacious feeling is very welcoming.

The bedroom houses a queen (160cm) sized bed, antique wardrobe and is adjacent to a shower room with hand basin and w.c.

So this apartment is fully self-contained and, as it is all on one level, it is ideal for anyone with mobility problems.

Oh so very inviting! The pool has steps leading down into it, and has a graduated depth. Sun loungers, a dining table with plenty of seating, and around the pool there is a lovely grassy area for playing ball or sunbaking. The garden extends way beyond the dining area and is a mix of fruit trees and herbs.....a place for kids to explore.

From here you feel you are "on top of the world".
