This stunning manor house, which looks particularly spectacular when floodlit by night, dates back to the early 18th century. It was originally built by Monks of the Carthusian Order and at the time of the French Revolution was owned by the Knights of the Order of Malta. These origins go some way to explaining both the grandeur and the peace and tranquility of the property. |
