Santiago
Eygalières / Bouches-du-Rhône

Eygaliere's village is superb. One could wax lyrical and all would be true. It's quite simply superb! Fifteen minutes gentle stroll from the heart of the village you'll find 'Santiago'.

Designed and built with total comfort uppermost in the mind, the attention to detail inside and out is obvious, the added extras a sheer pleasure. If venturing out and about is your wish, then the equally delightful town of St Remy de Provence is just 10 minutes drive away and Avignon is 30 minutes by car.

Whether it be under the covered terrace on the sofas and armchairs, or beneath the gentle shade of the pergola with a literally 'laid back' lounge chair and attitude ...... you could spread a towel on the grass by the pool ..... commune with nature, lap up the sunshine, fall in the pool when the going gets tough .... oh la la, what an effort relaxation can be!!

G & T anyone?! Truly a delightful terrace, shaded, stunning views, superbly comfortable chairs and sofas ..... yes please, with a twist!!

The eat-in kitchen is divided from the open-plan dining and lounge areas by a bar where observers can sit, sip and converse....leaving the elected chef to be creative whilst still part of that conversation.

With doors from the kitchen, the dining area and the lounge area all leading out to the terrace and garden, there's an abundance of light throughout the house.

The lounge area, with it's beautiful sofas, armchairs, stools and open fireplace, houses the television, dvd and music also.

The spacious and light open kitchen is extremely well equipped. With dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer, ice-maker (priorities!), microwave, toaster, kettle and all the small essentials, the budding chefs amongst you will need only shop for the fresh ingredients.

Friday is market day in the streets of Eygalieres; Wednesday is market day throughout the town of St. Remy de Provence. Both are wonderful markets, both very different from each other.....both well worth a visit.

Between the open kitchen and the open lounge area, you'll find a wonderfully comfortable formal dining area where light pours in, aromas tantalise and celebratory dinners are most elegant!

Double glass doors open to the covered terrace and fabulous views over the pool, the aromatic and colourful gardens and to the distant mountains. Truly a house for all seasons, comfort and space, light and tranquility.

Under the gently winding staircase you'll find the 'office' area where a desk, chair, good lighting and the 'observers armchair' are awaiting anyone who needs to bring their own computer and hook up to the wifi to keep in touch with the world!

To the left of the staircase you will find the laundry room which houses washing machine, dryer, additional refridgerator, bikes, pool games and the garage.

"Inviting"......that's an understatement!
